I am a currently unemployed Mechanical, Production & Automobile Engineer by training with over 20 years experience. As you will see from my CV, I have a wide variety of experience in the bus, truck and construction equipment industry with Cummins Engine Co & Ingersoll-Rand, as well as many years of Internal Sales including 7 years with Ingersoll-Rand’s Air Solutions Group. I carried out extensive course translation and multi-language training delivery by presentation for them in North Africa on electric drive air compressors, their ancillaries and efficient complex whole factory air system design. Please see my attached CV for more details of my achievements in that role. In the last 2 years I have been Small Project Managing most UK customer orders for Siemens’s ranges of bespoke Loher branded explosion risk area motors and drives.

I am strongly driven in customer service, as my former management can attest, having turned a situation around where orders had been outstanding for up to 6 months prior to my arrival, with no control system, measures, …

Two years down the line, working almost exclusively on my own, I have designed and implemented many methods, systems and measures to ensure that orders are cleaned & placed within a few days, the factory are chased to confirm delivery dates, improve them & deliver on time. I have also ensured that the customers are kept abreast of the latest info on their orders through regular direct contact & e-mail up-dates. I am solely responsible for all their documentation, be that local provision or factory supply co-ordination, many service related issues, technical queries & the required co-ordination with the factory on all issues. To ensure management were kept abreast of progress and current situation, I also published sets of monthly measures, which helped them manage the business & decide on future strategy.

As the projects I was dealing were of a much smaller nature than those handled in the main department I reported to, I have not been formally included in the PM@ Siemens Programme (The Siemens formal Project Management programme), but was studying this system in my own time, using Siemens’s internal systems.

On top of this I was also made a Junior Account Manager for a separate line of tailored lift products for our main lift customer in the UK.

I am hungry for a change of direction and would like to discuss your needs and how I may be able to help you.

Please contact me for a copy of my CV / to discuss any tasks / positions you might have that could help you with.

    Yours sincerely,

    John Falch
